Home sends monthly bill requiring on the internet publication of judges’ monetary disclosures to Biden

The Dwelling on Wednesday handed a bill that would have to have federal judges’ economic disclosure experiences to be printed online, and the laws is now headed to President Biden’s desk.

The legislation, dubbed the Courthouse Ethics and Transparency Act, handed in the House by voice vote. The Senate authorised the bill by voice vote in February.

If signed into legislation by Biden, the legislation would amend the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 by requiring that fiscal disclosure reviews submitted by federal judges be published to an online, searchable database that is available to the community.
